Incorporated in 1981 Pronghorn Controls Limited is a privately held, Alberta based energy controls services company active in the oil and gas, pipelines, and utilities sectors. The Company engineers and designs instrumentation systems and control and safety systems for processing facilities, such as refineries, tank terminals, gas processing, and compression plants.

The Brief
We had managed Pronghorns website built on Modx Evolution which was in legacy stage for a number of years. It was not mobile responsive and it required an old unsupported version of PHP to run so it was time for an update. The brief involved creating a responsive, clean, fast website, that demonstrated their core values and their position in the industry. They also had a custom career database section and Intranet that had to be integrated with the new website.
The Deliverables
WEBSITE
We completed the wireframes, storyboards and Mocks using Adobe XD and produced their site new site on WordPress ensuring that the core ethos of safety and inclusiveness was reflected in the new site. We created forms that integrate with their existing careers database and also embeded their intranet seamlessly together with the new website giving the sign in pages an update so they match the flow of the new site.
SEO
We performed SEO migration to ensure the previous site content was matched up to the new content and did the neccessary onsite work to the website to ensure it ranks for the keyphrases related to their business.
The Results
The site has an A score on GT Metrix and is fully mobile responsive. It is integrated with their careers section so they can still post jobs there and on Indeed. It is linked to their Intranet allowing Employees easy access to the site.
We also have achieved page 1 ranking on Google with just onsite SEO.
The new site received a huge positive response from their executive team. They are very happy with the clean, concise nature of the site and how well it reflects their core values.
