When we took over their site in 2018 they had no presence in Google or the SERPs. We started off with a full web audit to inspect their site and make the neccessary on site changes to get them ranking. They had been advised by their previous web developer to not attempt ranking outside their very small local area so their traffic was non existent.
We tweaked the site and focused on the city of Calgary and had them ranking within months. After a change in direction of services we now have them ranking on page 1 for their keyphrases for these new services via onsite changes and a successful offsite SEO campaign.
